Lumora Recovery is the addiction medicine and substance use treatment division of Lumora Psychiatric & Rejuvenation. We provide MAT, outpatient SUD treatment, dual-diagnosis psychiatry, therapy, and recovery support services.
Yes. We provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and we coordinate closely with therapists to ensure integrated care. Lumora Recovery also offers therapy, relapse-prevention counseling, and group-based programs.
MAT combines FDA-approved medications with therapy and monitoring to reduce cravings, stabilize withdrawal, and support long-term recovery. Common medications include:
- Buprenorphine/Suboxone
- Naltrexone (oral or Vivitrol)
- Anti-craving medications for alcohol use
No. We meet you where you are. MAT and outpatient treatment can begin even if you are still experiencing cravings or early withdrawal.
We do not provide inpatient detox, but we:
- Assess withdrawal risk
- Provide medication support when appropriate
- Coordinate with detox facilities
- Offer step-down care after detox
Yes. Lumora provides secure telepsychiatry and tele-recovery services for patients across Virginia. Many follow-ups, therapy sessions, and MAT visits can be completed virtually.
Yes. Our Adolescent Psychiatry services support individuals aged 13 and above with developmentally informed evaluations, medication management, and coordination with families and schools.
Absolutely. We offer comprehensive ADHD evaluations, medication management, executive functioning strategies, and support for school or workplace accommodations.
